Exporting the data from Survey Monkey to an excel file
Go to www.surveymonkey.com, find your movie, click the PIE CHART to ANALYZE
[email protected]
service
Click EXPORT ALL (the drop down) at the top right
Click: All Responses Data
Click: Opens in Microsoft Excel
You want to change the name of the file to the movie name here. It will get confusing with all these charts.
Click EXPORT
You will see it loading on the left side of screen
- You may get a window that pops up that says download it
- You may have to pick the’ XLS Data’ file on the left when it’s done
It will be a zip file.
Open it
Pick “excel” folder
Pick “sheet_1”
There are the results!
Take the average by doing the following
- select all the scores
- Go to that “Sum” button at the top (it looks like a funky capital E”)
- Use the drop down of the “Sum” button and pick AVERAGE
- It will make a row at the bottom of the average
- Copy that AVERAGE row
- Go to your new document and right click the row and click PASTE SPECIAL
- You have to change it to VALUES
- Then OK.
